If you had asked me years ago where I thought life would take me, I never would have imagined standing where I am today—camera in hand, capturing once-in-a-lifetime moments for couples and families. But looking back, I can see so clearly now that photography was never just my idea. It was God’s plan all along.
The Beginning
I didn’t set out to be a photographer. In fact, my journey started with curiosity and a simple love for documenting the beauty I saw around me. I would pick up my camera and capture moments, not knowing that those small sparks of passion were planting seeds for something much greater.
At the time, I thought I was just “trying it out.” But God was already aligning my steps—teaching me patience, opening opportunities, and giving me a heart for storytelling through images.
Doors Only God Could Open
What started as a hobby slowly grew into something more. Friends asked me to take their photos, and before I knew it, I was being trusted with weddings, families, and milestones. Every time I felt nervous or unsure, God reminded me that He equips those He calls.
Looking back, there were moments that could only be explained as divine timing—meeting the right people, being in the right place, and having opportunities that felt far bigger than me.
A Calling, Not Just a Career
Photography has never been “just a job.” For me, it’s a calling. It’s about capturing the love between two people, the joy of a family, or the quiet, holy moments of a wedding day. Each time I pick up my camera, I feel the weight and the privilege of freezing memories that will outlive us all.
I believe God gave me this gift not only to create beautiful images, but to serve others, bring joy, and remind people of the love and goodness He has woven into their lives.
His Plan, His Purpose
When I reflect on my journey, I see how photography has shaped not only my career but my faith. It has taught me to trust God’s timing, to be bold in stepping into unknown paths, and to remember that His plans are always better than my own.
What began as “just trying something new” became my life’s work—a living reminder that when we walk in faith, God will always lead us to where we are meant to be.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11
